Miirym - Dragon Oprah by LMars

Format: Commander

Commander: Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm is a dragon-token engine. The main plan is to deploy Miirym on or before turn four, then chain Dragon spells so each one brings a nonlegendary copy that doubles ETB triggers and board presence. Secondary paths include extra-combat loops with Old Gnawbone or Klauth plus Aggravated Assault, and giant trample finishes from Atarka, Thrakkus, Overwhelming Stampede, or Triumph of the Hordes. The commander is not strictly required for the extra-combat combos, but her copies greatly speed the kill. Most games ramp on turns 1-3, cast Miirym on turn 4, then use turns 5-7 to assemble a haste-backed dragon wave or infinite combat and close out.
