Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Gruul midrange strategy led by Kibo, Uktabi Prince. It combines symmetrical gift generation with asymmetric artifact destruction and +1/+1 counter scaling. In the opening turns, dense one-mana ramp accelerates Kibo onto the battlefield by Turn 2. Kibo hands out Banana tokens to all players, enticing opponents to crack them for mana while setting up devastating blowout turns. By Turn 4, the deck leverages efficient artifact removal spells such as Meltdown, Gorilla Shaman, and Vandalblast to wipe out opposing Bananas, Treasures, and mana rocks. Each destroyed artifact fuels +1/+1 counters onto Kibo and other Ape or Monkey creatures. With support from counter doublers like Hardened Scales and The Earth Crystal, Kibo rapidly expands into a lethal combat juggernaut. Trample enablers, Chandra's Ignition, and tight, low-cost protection spells ensure Kibo closes out games through lethal commander damage while continually starving opponents of their artifact resources.
