Deck overview

This mono-red Dragon tribal deck focuses on ramping into high-impact flying threats and overwhelming opponents with massive airborne damage. Led by Lathliss, Dragon Queen, the deck uses early cost-reducers and artifact ramp—such as Dragonspeaker Shaman, Dragonlord's Servant, and Arcane Signet—to deploy its commander on Turn 5. Once assembled, each subsequent Dragon spell triggers Lathliss to create an additional 5/5 flying Dragon token, rapidly doubling the board's offensive power. High-synergy payoffs like Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Terror of Mount Velus convert creature deployment into immediate burn damage and lethal combat swings. The deck relies on damage-based sweepers like Blasphemous Act and Chain Reaction to keep opposing boards clear while rebuilding with resilient flyers like Utvara Hellkite and Drakuseth, Maw of Flames. While vulnerable to mass exile and lacking stack interaction, the deck presents a relentless combat clock that can eliminate a four-player pod by Turn 8.
