Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius Vehicle Midrange strategy commanded by Shorikai, Genesis Engine. The primary game plan focuses on deploying Shorikai early to establish a resilient draw and token-generation engine. Because Shorikai creates Pilot tokens that crew as though their power were 2 greater, the deck easily animates heavy Vehicles like Skysovereign, Consul Flagship, The Indomitable, and Salvation Engine without overextending non-token creatures. The deck maintains card advantage through Shorikai's looting ability alongside draw engines like Rhystic Study and Esper Sentinel. Interaction is robust, packing efficient spot exile, resilient countermagic, and asymmetric blowouts via overloaded Cyclonic Rift. Protection spells like Teferi's Protection and Akroma's Will shield the board and turn wide Vehicle armadas into lethal alpha strikes. The deck aims to assemble its engine by Turn 4, apply critical combat pressure on Turn 6, and eliminate the table by Turn 8.
