Pact Negation by user5715330

Commander: Codie, Vociferous Codex

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a five-color spellslinger combo list helmed by Codie, Vociferous Codex, built entirely around instants and sorceries. The strategy centers on resolving Codie early, then using its activated ability to cascade free spells while generating all five colors of mana. The deck wins through a combination of extra-turn loops, Hive Mind copying detrimental spells, Approach of the Second Sun recursion, or Torment of Hailfire fueled by massive ritual mana. A dense suite of "end the turn" effects (Discontinuity, Glorious End, Sundial of the Infinite, Obeka, Brute Chronologist) negates the downsides of Pact cards and extra-turn lose clauses, creating a resilient combo engine that operates almost entirely at instant speed.
