This Izzet spellslinger deck uses Alania, Divergent Storm to copy the first instant, sorcery, and Otter each turn, turning cheap cantrips, rituals, and draw spells into card advantage and storm count. It wins by amplifying payoffs: Crackle with Power copied with Twinning Staff, Primal Wellspring, and Return the Favor; Stormsplitter making hasty copies; or Coruscation Mage pinging the table, doubled by Harmonic Prodigy and Veyran. Thousand-Year Storm and Mizzix's Mastery provide explosive late turns, while Storm-Kiln Artist and treasures fund big X spells. Alania accelerates the plan but the deck keeps functional win lines without her.
