LOTR HORROR WOLVES by user7737252

Format: Commander

Commander: Chief of the Wilds

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Chief of the Wilds helms a Golgari Wolf-tribal deck with a two-headed plan: a compact infinite-drain combo and a trigger-doubling token army. The commander doubles every Wolf-triggered ability - Hollowhenge Overlord's token production, Chief Warg's Company's upkeep wolves, The Chief Warg's attack draw - while Roaming Throne (naming Wolf) stacks a second doubling layer. A deep tutor suite (Vampiric Tutor, Demonic Tutor, Diabolic Intent, Worldly Tutor, Green Sun's Zenith, Chord of Calling, Fauna Shaman, Finale of Devastation) assembles the Witherbloom Apprentice + Chain of Smog loop, which copies itself infinitely for magecraft drains, or finds whichever engine the hand needs. Branching Evolution, Hardened Scales, and The Ozolith turn Wolf tokens into a growing, wipe-resistant mass, finished by Finale of Devastation or Overwhelming Stampede. Heroic Intervention, Veil of Summer, and Boseiju, Who Endures protect key turns and answer hate. Notably, Chief also doubles the tutor trigger of the Siege Invasion of Ikoria.
