Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue artifact midrange strategy commanded by Urza, Lord High Artificer. Rather than relying on traditional high-powered stax locks or infinite combos, it focuses on building a resilient mana base of cheap artifacts, deploying Urza to transform the entire board into mana acceleration, and converting that surplus into massive combat pressure. Key threats include Simulacrum Synthesizer, Cyberdrive Awakener, Kappa Cannoneer, and huge Construct tokens generated by Urza and Urza's Saga. The deck maintains steady velocity through top-deck casting engines like Mystic Forge and The Reality Chip, alongside efficient draw spells like Thoughtcast and Thought Monitor. It defends its game plan with a targeted package of cheap counterspells and creature removal such as Force of Will, Swan Song, and Resculpt. The deck steadily outvalues opponents and finishes the game with an overwhelming aerial or trample assault across Turns 6 and 7.
