Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive mono-blue clone and token engine commanded by Council of Reeds. By nullifying the legend rule for your creatures, the commander allows you to create duplicate token copies of itself whenever you cast a noncreature spell before combat. Because each token copy possesses the same replication trigger, the board multiplies exponentially each turn: from one Council to two, four, eight, and sixteen. The deck converts this rapidly widening board into game-ending combat damage using potent tribal and legendary anthems such as Coat of Arms, Heroes' Podium, Banner of Kinship, and unblockable evasion from Sun Quan, Lord of Wu. A lean package of low-mana counterspells, including Fierce Guardianship and Swan Song, defends your multiplying board against opposing sweepers. As an alternate win condition, the deck features a compact two-card infinite combo between Astral Dragon and Machine God's Effigy, generating infinite blue mana and infinite flying Dragon tokens.
