Deck overview

This deck is an aristocrats control strategy commanded by Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker. It seeks to assemble a free sacrifice outlet alongside low-power creatures with potent enters-the-battlefield or death triggers. Because Shirei triggers on every player's end step, the deck extracts quadruple value from creatures like Burglar Rat, Serrated Scorpion, and Greedy Freebooter across each full turn rotation. This turns minor effects into suffocating resource denial, stripping opposing hands and controlling the board via Grave Pact and Sothera, the Supervoid. The deck's primary limitation lies in its heavy commander reliance and fragile assembly: Shirei is a 5-mana 2/2 creature that must remain on the battlefield for sacrificed creatures to return. Without fast mana or infinite combos, the win condition is a slow, methodical life drain that gives opponents several response cycles to find an answer.
