Deck overview

This Grixis kindred deck leverages Loki, the Deceiver to generate temporary token copies of powerful Villain creatures whenever Loki attacks, simultaneously converting combat connections into steady card draw. An explosive mana base powered by format-ceiling rocks like Mana Vault, Chrome Mox, and Sol Ring accelerates high-impact Villains and clone effects into play well ahead of curve. Cards such as The Squadron Sinister, Roaming Throne, and Shared Animosity turn temporary token copies into overwhelming combat boards, while The Master, Multiplied and Sundial of the Infinite allow the deck to bypass end-step sacrifice triggers and retain token armies permanently. The deck is shielded by a premier suite of free and efficient reactive spells, including Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Deadly Rollick. While the deck lacks compact infinite combos, its dense card flow, resilient graveyard recursion, and rapid combat scaling deliver consistent pressure that closes out 4-player games across two response cycles.
