Deck overview

This Abzan Food-token deck helmed by Sam, Loyal Attendant and Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit turns incremental life gain into a relentless value engine. The primary game plan is to generate a steady stream of Food tokens, use them for mana, card draw, and sacrifice triggers, then convert life gain into opponent life loss via Sanguine Bond and Mirkwood Bats. The Ring-tempt mechanic on Frodo supplies additional card advantage and an alternate win condition through Frodo, Sauron's Bane. Combat comes second, with large threats like Treebeard, Gracious Host and Feasting Hobbit that grow off life-gain triggers. The deck wins by attrition rather than a single explosive turn, draining the table over several rotations while maintaining a wide board of tokens and value creatures.
