Grixis combo 2 by user3028006

Format: Commander

Commander: Nicol Bolas, the Ravager // Nicol Bolas, the Arisen

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

An explosive Grixis combo-control deck. The primary plan is to assemble Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact with Thassa's Oracle and exile the library for an immediate win. Ad Nauseam, a deep tutor suite, and a low curve let it find the pieces quickly. Secondary channels are Underworld Breach with Lion's Eye Diamond/Brain Freeze and a Hullbreaker Horror mana-rock loop. Nicol Bolas, the Ravager is the intended front face: a cheap discard trigger and blocker that can flip into Arisen for card advantage and reanimation; the deck can win without him but values his hand disruption. Valki/Tibalt and Bolas, Dragon-God are additional value threats.
