Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos aristocrats and burn strategy built around Smaug, Wicked Worm. The game plan focuses on scaling mana through opponents' artifact counts and converting Treasure tokens into card advantage, direct damage, and game-ending spells. In the early game, the deck establishes mana rocks and utility creatures before casting Smaug to generate a burst of Treasures. Once online, every spell cast with Treasure mana replaces itself while draining opponents through pingers like Mayhem Devil, Reckless Fireweaver, and Nadier's Nightblade. Copy and flicker effects like Flameshadow Conjuring and Conjurer's Closet repeatedly re-trigger Smaug's enter-the-battlefield ability, creating a self-sustaining resource loop. When ready to close the game, the deck funnels its massive mana pool into lethal finishers such as Crackle with Power, Exsanguinate, or Rise of the Dark Realms. The deck interacts efficiently with low-cost removal while utilizing instant-speed recursion spells to protect its key creatures from targeted removal.
