Rowan C500 by karmakk

Format: Commander

Commander: Rowan, Scion of War

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Rowan, Scion of War is a life-loss discount engine that turns life paid into mana reduction for black and red spells. The primary plan is to cast Rowan, lose 7-12 life in the same turn with Plunge into Darkness, Stargaze, or Peer into the Abyss, tap Rowan, and fire a discounted Crackle with Power or Exsanguinate for lethal. The secondary path is an infinite combat combo with Dualcaster Mage copying Twinflame or Electroduplicate to make infinite hasty Dualcasters. Rowan is the enabler and cost reducer, not a beatstick. Dualcaster Mage acts as a hidden commander for the independent combo line, while Marshland Bloodcaster offers a backup life-for-mana engine.
