Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Izzet Historic token strategy commanded by Shaun, Father of Synths. The primary game plan accelerates into cheap legendary creatures during the early turns before deploying Shaun on Turn 4. On Turn 5, declaring an attack triggers Shaun's ability to create nonlegendary Synth artifact copies of attacking legendary powerhouses such as Karlach, Fury of Avernus, Etali, Primal Storm, and Smaug the Magnificent. These Synth copies multiply attack triggers, grant extra combat phases, and generate exponential board presence. Mid-game payoffs like Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer and Cybermen Squadron convert wide token boards into copies of the most devastating legendary beaters, closing out games via overwhelming combat damage by Turn 7. The deck protects its commander and tokens with cheap countermagic, Swiftfoot Boots, and Padeem, Consul of Innovation, while disrupting opponents with efficient spot removal, forced combat from Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos, and an asymmetric reset via Desynchronization.
