Format: Commander

Commander: Y'shtola, Night's Blessed

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Y'shtola, Night's Blessed is the payoff, card-advantage engine, and all-opponent drainer of this esper spells deck. The game plan is to park the commander at four mana, use Alisaie/Alphinaud and Lyse to chain multiple 3-plus noncreature spells, then turn those spells into life loss from Y'shtola, Papalymo, and the Wizard pingers from Transpose and Circle of Power. A secondary route builds a wide Hero/Moogle board with G'raha Tia, Good King Mog XII, and Champions from Beyond, while Fandaniel and Exsanguinate finish long games by punishing accumulated instant/sorcery count. There is no double-faced commander; the closest hidden commander is the Alisaie/Alphinaud partner pair, but the deck is built around Y'shtola's spell-trigger drain.
