Lantern Control by Yookazi10

Format: Commander

Commander: Circu, Dimir Lobotomist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Dimir mill-and-lobotomy control deck helmed by Circu, Dimir Lobotomist. The core plan is to cast a steady stream of blue and black spells, each trigger exiling the top card of an opponent's library and permanently locking them out of casting spells with those names. The deck pairs this soft lock with a dense control suite - nine counterspells, hand disruption, and stax-lite pieces like Narset, Parter of Veils, Ashiok, Dream Render, and Zur's Weirding - while grinding toward a mill victory through Sphinx's Tutelage, Mindcrank, Altar of the Brood, and the ever-growing Consuming Aberration. Bolas's Citadel provides explosive spell-chaining, and Painter's Servant supercharges both Circu and Sphinx's Tutelage. It is a slow, grindy inevitability deck that wins by attrition rather than a single combo turn.
