Commander: Licia, Sanguine Tribune

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Mardu Vampire tribal deck helmed by Licia, Sanguine Tribune leverages lifegain to reduce the commander's cost and fuel a devastating drain engine. The primary game plan is assembling an infinite life-loss loop using Bloodthirsty Conqueror paired with either Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Marauding Blight-Priest - any life gain trigger sets off a chain that kills each opponent. Combat serves as a robust secondary path, with a dense suite of lords (Stromkirk Captain, Markov Baron, Coat of Arms) turning a swarm of Vampires into an overwhelming board. The deck also packs powerful tutors (Vampiric Tutor, Demonic Tutor) to find its combo pieces reliably, while Bolas's Citadel and Esper Sentinel provide additional card advantage. The commander is a strong beater with built-in growth, but the deck's engine runs just fine without her.
