Deck overview

Helmed by Thranduil, the Elvenking, this is a Sultai Elf tribal deck built around a rare piece of commander tech: Thranduil copies every activated ability printed on Elf cards in your graveyard. That turns the bin into a toolbox - Lathril, Blade of the Elves gives him a ten-Elf "each opponent loses 10 life" activation, Elvish Archdruid and Wirewood Channeler turn him into a mega-dork, and Elvish Piper lets him dump threats for {G}. The second half of the commander is a wheel-lite draw engine: every other legendary Elf that enters lets you draw two and bin one, filling the graveyard that powers the first half. The deck's plan is to develop many Elf splinter-lords, use the discount from Gathering Stone and Chronicle of Victory, then close with an overrun-style alpha strike, Kindred Dominance as a one-sided board wipe, or the Lathril lifedrain route.
