Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black artifact aristocrats strategy that leverages Imotekh the Stormlord to convert graveyard movement into a wide army of 2/2 Necron Warrior artifact tokens. It combines low-cost recursion loops like Tortured Existence, Scrap Trawler, and Myr Retriever with sacrifice outlets to repeatedly trigger Imotekh's token ability. Once established, the deck transitions from value generation into game-ending pressure using menace anthems, Cranial Plating, Cybermen Squadron, or Marionette Apprentice life drain. Mid-game mana ramps effectively through Cabal Coffers, Karn, Legacy Reforged, and Sceptre of Eternal Glory. Asymmetric board wipes such as Their Name Is Death and continuous attrition engines like Dictate of Erebos keep opposing creature strategies locked down while preserving the pilot's artifact board state. Resilient recursion ensures that disrupted engines can be rebuilt quickly from the graveyard.
