Deck overview

This Boros deck, led by Mabel, Valley Hero, leverages efficient low-drop creatures, token generation, and aggressive +1/+1 counter distribution to overrun opponents through combat. The game plan focuses on establishing a wide board early with resilient Mice and Soldiers, triggering Mabel's counter placement upon entry, and magnifying stats with multipliers like Lae'zel, Vlaakith's Champion and Cathars' Crusade. The deck sustains resources using once-per-turn draw engines like Welcoming Vampire and Tocasia's Welcome. By Turn 6, it converts accumulated board size into lethal combat pressure via mass evasion and stat modifiers such as Abzan Falconer, Sigarda's Summons, or Sephiroth, Fallen Hero. A robust suite of protection spells, including Boros Charm, Dawn's Truce, and Semester's End, safeguards the creature swarm from opposing sweepers, while efficient spot removal clears key blockers and opposing threats on the path to an ordinary Turn 8 finish.
