Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Spellslinger Combo strategy commanded by Krark, the Thumbless and Vial Smasher the Fierce. It leverages low-cost cantrips, burn spells, and rituals alongside Magecraft triggers and burn pingers like Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, and Black Waltz No. 3. The primary win condition is the compact two-card combo of Professor Onyx and Chain of Smog, which repeatedly triggers Magecraft to drain all opponents of their life totals on Turn 5. Backup routes include generating infinite Pest tokens with Sedgemoor Witch or infinite Treasures with Storm-Kiln Artist to fuel a lethal Exsanguinate. The deck backs up its proactive game plan with a robust suite of efficient spot removal and sweepers such as Toxic Deluge and Blasphemous Act, while utilizing Underworld Breach and reanimation effects for resilient recovery.
