Deck overview

This is a Grixis "Villain" tribal deck built around discard, connive, and graveyard recursion, helmed by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. Doom's combat connive turns every draw into card filtering and +1/+1 growth on whichever Villain he targets, while his land-discard trigger pings each opponent for 2 - a quiet but real damage clock attached to the deck's natural land-cycling. The deck wins primarily through combat: a wide, hasted, flying Villain army pumped by lords like The Squadron Sinister and Titania, Proud Pummeler, with Living Laser as a burst finisher and Glorious Purpose offering a free-cast blowout once the connive count stacks up. A robust recursion package - Reanimate, Animate Dead, Living Death, Victimize, and the Mayhem cards - keeps the plan grinding through removal. Secondary synergies include play-from-exile via Containment Construct, Currency Converter, and Moonstone, Harsh Mistress, plus a suspend sub-theme on Kang Prime and Doom's Time Platform.
