Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos midrange engine led by Prosper, Tome-Bound that converts impulse exile into mana velocity and direct damage. The game plan centers on using Prosper and complementary impulse effects to generate a steady stream of Treasure tokens, which are amplified by value multipliers like Academy Manufactor, Xorn, and Crime Novelist. As artifacts enter and leave the battlefield, a dense suite of pingers—including Mirkwood Bats, Ingenious Artillerist, Reckless Fireweaver, and Marionette Master—burns down the entire table simultaneously. The deck maintains steady board control with efficient creature removal such as Deadly Rollick and sweepers like Toxic Deluge and Blasphemous Act. Its primary vulnerabilities stem from a lack of stack interaction to disrupt non-creature combos, limited dedicated protection for its commander, and severe exposure to artifact sweepers that wipe out accumulated Treasure reserves.
