Deck overview

This cEDH list operates as an explosive Izzet storm and combo deck helmed by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi acts as both a ritual mana battery and a direct-damage win condition in the command zone. The deck leverages dense zero- and one-mana acceleration, cheap cantrips, and rituals to cast Vivi by Turn 2. On Turn 3, chaining noncreature spells grows Vivi's power and taps into its zero-mana mana ability to produce a large pool of colored mana. This mana immediately funds compact infinite win conditions: Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal to trigger infinite Vivi pings, Underworld Breach looping Brain Freeze and rituals, or Stella Lee, Wild Card chaining Twisted Fealty. Backed by a premier suite of free counterspells, silence effects like Defense Grid, and split-second protection from Samut, Tyrant of Naktamun, the deck reliably initiates and closes its win attempts on Turn 3 with zero opponent response cycles.
