Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos spellslinger burn strategy commanded by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer. The game plan revolves around amassing Wizard tokens through Kuja's end-step trigger and low-cost noncreature spells, then transforming Kuja into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied to double all damage dealt by Wizards. By stacking damage multipliers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Harmonic Prodigy, and City on Fire alongside mana engines like Birgi, God of Storytelling and Storm-Kiln Artist, the deck chains inexpensive cantrips and rituals to burn all three opponents out in a single explosive turn cycle without needing combat. Defensively, the list relies on high-tempo, free interaction like Deflecting Swat and Deadly Rollick to protect its board and disrupt opponents while advancing its own burn velocity.
