Commander: Teysa Karlov

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a classic Orzhov aristocrats deck built around Teysa Karlov, whose ability doubles every death trigger from permanents you control. The plan is to deploy cheap creatures that replace themselves when they die, sacrifice them for value, and convert each death into cards, tokens, and life drain with payoffs such as Blood Artist, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, and Dark Prophecy. Tokens from Doomed Traveler, Ministrant of Obligation, and Hallowed Spiritkeeper provide fuel, while Reassembling Skeleton and Tenacious Dead act as reusable sacrifice fodder. Drivnod, Carnage Dominus is the closest thing to a backup commander, offering a second copy of Teysa's doubling effect. The primary win is cumulative table-wide drain rather than a single infinite combo; a vigilance/lifelink token swarm, boosted by Ethereal Absolution or Feast of the Victorious Dead, is a secondary path.
