Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov lifegain and attrition strategy led by Sorin of House Markov // Sorin, Ravenous Neonate. The game plan deploys low-cost lifegain enablers like Soul Warden, Authority of the Consuls, and Guide of Souls to transform Sorin into his planeswalker side by Turn 3 or 4. Once transformed, Sorin generates Food tokens, removes threats with life-scaled damage, and builds a massive life buffer. The deck leverages this life cushion to power late-game win conditions such as Felidar Sovereign, Aetherflux Reservoir, and the infinite combo of Exquisite Blood and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. Robust disruption pieces like Linvala, Keeper of Silence, Grand Abolisher, and versatile sweepers keep opponents in check. While the deck lacks high-density fast mana and targeted tutors, its redundant engine pieces, steady card draw, and defensive life total create strong late-game inevitability.
