Deck overview

This deck is a classic Simic Landfall powerhouse led by Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait. The primary strategy focuses on deploying efficient land ramp spells in the early turns, establishing Aesi or Tatyova, Benthic Druid on turn 4, and leveraging additional land drops to draw deep into the library. On turns 5 and 6, the deck converts its massive mana advantage and land drops into an overwhelming board presence using token generators like Avenger of Zendikar and Rampaging Baloths, or explosive card draw via Cultivator Colossus. The deck closes out the game on turn 6 by granting trample and enormous power buffs to its creature army through Craterhoof Behemoth or Overwhelming Stampede. Supported by resilient graveyard land recursion and interaction to protect its critical turns, the deck consistently out-values opponents while maintaining strong engine recovery after opposing sweepers.
