Deck overview

This deck utilizes the unique Rulebreaker text on The Unluckiest Planeswalker to assemble a five-color Curse and Aura control strategy supported by a mono-red burn and pillowfort shell. Early turns focus on establishing color fixing through land ramp and the commander's mana-generating +1 ability. In the mid-game, the deck deploys debilitating Curses such as Curse of Exhaustion, Curse of Disturbance, and Curse of Surveillance to cripple leading opponents while refilling the hand using the commander's −3 ability. Once established, Curse of Misfortunes fetches heavy punishment pieces like Overwhelming Splendor, Curse of Bloodletting, and Grievous Wound, compounding damage alongside spellslinger pingers such as Thor, God of Thunder, Longshot, Rebel Bowman, and Coruscation Mage. Pillowfort artifacts like Crawlspace and Silent Arbiter protect against retaliation until attrition or an Insurrection finish secures victory.
