Deck overview

This Sultai deck is led by Teval, the Balanced Scale, focusing on self-mill, land recursion, and aristocrat sacrifice combos. The game plan ramps early into Teval on Turn 3, attacking on Turn 4 to mill cards, ramp lands, and generate Zombie Druid tokens. The deck treats the graveyard as a second hand, utilizing dredge cards like Life from the Loam and recursion engines like Muldrotha, the Gravetide and Conduit of Worlds to assemble its win conditions. Victory is achieved around Turn 5 through mass reanimation with Living Death or an infinite sacrifice loop featuring Gravecrawler, Pitiless Plunderer, and a sacrifice outlet like Altar of Dementia or Ashnod's Altar, draining or milling the table with Ayara, First of Locthwain, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Syr Konrad, the Grim. Free interaction spells like Force of Negation, Deadly Rollick, and Force of Vigor protect development while disrupting opponents.
