Commander: Sauron, the Lidless Eye

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Sauron, the Lidless Eye is the deck's finisher and removal magnet. The primary plan is an amass/go-wide Orc-Goblin strategy: small amass engines (Dreadhorde Invasion, Swarming of Moria, March from the Black Gate) build a single huge Army, while Krenko and Raid tokens widen the board. Sauron then doubles as a one-sided overrun and drain engine, turning a board full of mediocre tokens into lethal combat damage. Secondary paths use theft (Sauron, Grishnakh), sacrifice-value payoff (Bolg, Nasty End), and graveyard recursion (Tarrian's Journal, The Rise of Sozin) to grind mid-game value. The deck is linear, but flexible, with no hidden commander; Sauron is present from the command zone and both his theft and pump/'drain' modes matter.
