Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari go-wide token and aristocrats strategy led by Hazel of the Rootbloom. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early token generators such as Gilded Goose, Prosperous Innkeeper, and Tireless Provisioner to set up Hazel on Turn 4. Hazel accelerates board development by duplicating tokens on each end step and tapping tokens for explosive mana ramp. In the mid-game, the deck converts high token counts into decisive pressure using combat overruns like Beastmaster Ascension and End-Raze Forerunners, or indirect drain through aristocrats like Bastion of Remembrance, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Nadier's Nightblade. While the deck generates high mana velocity and steady card advantage, it relies on natural draws due to a lack of tutors and remains exposed to creature board wipes due to minimal defensive spell protection.
