The Reaper V1 by Matthat

Format: Commander

Commander: The Reaper, King No More

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Jund deck controls the battlefield using -1/-1 counters, sacrifice synergies, and continuous value generation. The Reaper, King No More acts as a repeatable removal outlet and theft engine that steals opposing creatures when they succumb to -1/-1 counters. You whittle down enemy boards using wither and mass-counter enablers while triggering token generators like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons and Nest of Scarabs. The primary win conditions involve converting counter placement into direct burn with All Will Be One, assembling infinite sacrifice loops with Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Goblin Bombardment, or amassing overwhelming board presence and Treasure to close out the game.
