Deck overview

This mono-black deck is helmed by Super Shredder, turning every permanent that leaves the battlefield across the entire table into +1/+1 counters. The deck merges an aggressive Voltron threat with an oppressive Aristocrats engine. It utilizes symmetrical sacrifice effects from creatures like Fleshbag Marauder, Plaguecrafter, and Accursed Marauder alongside death-trigger staples like Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos. These edicts simultaneously strip opposing creature boards and rapidly grow Super Shredder into a lethal menace attacker. Low-cost token engines such as Bitterblossom, Ophiomancer, and Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia fuel sacrifice outlets including Skullclamp and Ashnod's Altar, maintaining high card velocity and mana production. While lacking nonland tutors to search specific silver bullets, dense functional redundancy ensures consistent execution. The deck closes games either through rapid commander damage backed by protective equipment like Commander's Plate or through massive life-draining finishers such as Torment of Hailfire and Exsanguinate.
