Deck overview

This deck is a classic Grixis Wheels and Group Slug strategy commanded by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. The primary game plan accelerates into Nekusar on turns 4 to 5, then layers punishing draw triggers and hand disruptions such as Teferi's Puzzle Box, Windfall, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse. By turning the fundamental game action of card drawing into direct damage, the deck places the entire table on an inescapable clock. Supplementary win conditions include turning Nekusar lethal with Corrupted Conscience or draining massive chunks of life via Peer into the Abyss. The deck runs targeted discard to strip answers, basic countermagic to shield key spells, and mass bounce to reset problematic boards.
