Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan dual-tribal aggro and aristocrat-burn strategy led by Olag and Miau, New Friends. The game plan revolves around generating a continuous stream of Cat and Zombie creature tokens. Whenever a Zombie enters, your Cats grow with +1/+1 counters; whenever a Cat enters, your Zombies grow. During your end step, the commander converts every tapped Cat and Zombie into direct, unblockable life loss for each opponent. Early turns focus on mana ramp and cheap token producers such as Ocelot Pride and Dreadhorde Invasion. On Turn 4, the commander enters to start scaling your board and draining life. Mid-game engines like Brimaz, King of Oreskos, Grave Titan, and Caretaker's Talent rapidly expand your creature count. The deck closes games around Turn 7 through overwhelming combat damage amplified by Coat of Arms or Mirror Entity, combined with heavy end-step burn. While vulnerable to board wipes, the deck maintains solid recovery through planeswalkers and resilient token creators.
