gwen by Nullram

Format: Commander

Commander: Gwenom, Remorseless

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck leverages Gwenom, Remorseless as a repeatable pseudo-Bolas's Citadel in the command zone, pairing her attack trigger with lifelink to cast spells directly from the top of the library using life instead of mana. The early game establishes mana ramp, topdeck manipulation tools, and incremental drain permanents. Once Gwenom attacks or Bolas's Citadel resolves, the deck tears through the library, deploying heavy devotion payoffs and life-draining bombs without paying mana costs. The primary win condition culminates in bursting down opponents through lethal life drain using Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Shard of the Nightbringer, Syr Konrad, the Grim, and a high-count Tendrils of Agony storm finish.
