Deck overview

This is a highly tuned combo deck built around Yurlok of Scorch Thrash, using his mana-punishment ability as disruption while the real game plan lives entirely in the 99. The deck accelerates rapidly with cheap mana dorks, rituals (Dark Ritual, Culling the Weak, Orcish Lumberjack) and symmetrical mana doublers (Mana Flare, Heartbeat of Spring) that Yurlok weaponises. The primary win condition is a small but interlocking set of two-card infinite combos: Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Zealous Conscripts/Combat Celebrant, Splinter Twin + Zealous Conscripts, and Chain of Smog + Witherbloom Apprentice. A stax sub-theme powered by City of Solitude, Price of Glory, War's Toll and Winter Orb buys the time needed to assemble these lines. The deck can also win via infinite mana produced by Staff of Domination or Selvala, Heart of Wild into Walking Ballista or Bolnar's Citadel, ensuring multiple redundant paths to victory. ---
