Commander: Winter, Cynical Opportunist

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Golgari reanimator and combo deck leverages graveyard velocity and premium tutors to execute rapid wins or establish overwhelming board locks. The primary win condition is the compact two-card combination of Witherbloom Apprentice and Chain of Smog, targeting oneself infinitely to drain the table. Secondary lines rely on Entomb and low-cost reanimation spells like Reanimate and Animate Dead to cheat high-impact threats such as Razaketh, Vilis, or Archon of Cruelty onto the battlefield early. Winter serves as a resilient midrange value engine, milling cards on attacks and returning key permanents during the end step once delirium is achieved.
