Deck overview

This Sultai deck is an optimized graveyard combo-midrange list helmed by Teval, the Balanced Scale. The deck blends rapid self-mill, land recursion, and sacrifice synergies to generate massive board presence and card velocity. Its primary win condition revolves around assembling Gravecrawler and Phyrexian Altar alongside Teval, which triggers Teval's token creation on every recast to produce infinite mana, infinite Zombie tokens, and instant table kills via Altar of Dementia or The Meathook Massacre. Supported by premium ramp like Bloom Tender and Gaea's Cradle, top-tier tutors like Demonic Tutor and Entomb, and elite interaction including Fierce Guardianship and Deadly Rollick, the deck transitions seamlessly between a grindy midrange value plan and sudden combo finishes. Even when disrupted, heavy reanimation density and resilient recursion engines like Six and Life from the Loam ensure rapid recovery and inevitable late-game dominance.
