Deck overview

The Cabbage Merchant leads a synergistic mono-green combo-engine deck that turns Food and artifact tokens into explosive mana acceleration, massive card draw, and reliable same-turn victories. The commander generates Food tokens whenever opponents cast noncreature spells and lets you tap every two Foods for mana of any color. This accelerates your setup into powerful token multipliers and creature tutors. The primary win condition is a two-card infinite combo between Peregrin Took and Nuka-Cola Vending Machine. Because Peregrin Took creates an extra untapped Food whenever Nuka-Cola creates a Treasure upon Food sacrifice, you can draw your entire library and generate infinite colored mana in a single turn. The deck finishes immediately with Aetherflux Reservoir laser activations or a massive Finale of Devastation attack. Backed by tutorable turn-silencing protection from Dosan the Falling Leaf and stompy backup finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth and Displaced Dinosaurs, the deck operates with remarkable speed and consistency.
