Deck overview

This is a mono-green counter-based creature deck led by Renata, Called to the Hunt. Its normal plan is to accelerate with mana creatures, land auras, and land-search spells, then build a board of large creatures with +1/+1 counters and trample. Kalonian Hydra is the main pressure engine: it enters with four counters and doubles counters on attacking creatures. Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, Wildwood Scourge, and proliferate effects increase that growth. Garruk's Uprising and Tribute to the World Tree turn large creature deployment into card flow. The deck has useful protection and broad permanent removal, but it lacks tutors, stack interaction, haste, and a compact win condition. Its supported threat begins around turn 8 and normally requires multiple combat steps to eliminate the table. It is strongest when opponents cannot remove its key creatures and weakest against sweepers, exile, and faster combo decks.
