Deck overview

This is a classic Orzhov aristocrats deck helmed by Teysa Karlov, built to weaponize death triggers. The core loop is simple: generate token creatures, sacrifice them through outlets like Viscera Seer and Ayara, First of Locthwain, and drain the table through doubled Blood Artist-style effects. Teysa's trigger-doubling is the engine that turns every death into two drains, two life gains, and two card draws. The deck's cleanest win is the Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond infinite life-drain loop, with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Bloodthirsty Conqueror serving as redundant halves. A dense Vampire tribal subtheme (Edgar, Charmed Groom, Elenda, the Dusk Rose, Sorin, Imperious Bloodlord) provides token generation and lifelink synergy, while a strong draw suite (Phyrexian Arena, Black Market Connections, Smothering Tithe) keeps the engine fed. The deck grinds value early and pivots to a combo finish once the table's life totals are low enough.
