Deck overview

This deck uses Ghoulcaller Gisa to turn creatures into Zombie armies, then increases their size and combat pressure with Death Baron, Lord of the Accursed, Liliana's Mastery, and Undead Warchief. Sacrifice and death synergies from Undead Augur, Midnight Reaper, Open the Graves, Headless Rider, and Vengeful Dead provide value as the board develops. The deck is functional on curve, but its five-mana commander and limited tutoring make its strongest draws inconsistent. It can produce a threatening board around turns 8–9, yet it has no dependable compact finish. Closing cards such as Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Army of the Damned are powerful but expensive and not reliably found with the required support. Removal is respectable against creatures, while protection and stack interaction are major gaps. The list is best understood as a casual-to-mid-power tribal engine deck rather than a fast combo, control, or competitive Commander strategy.
