Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is led by Kykar, Wind's Fury and focuses on a spellslinger strategy that converts noncreature spells into a wide army of flying Spirit tokens. As you cast low-cost cantrips, removal, and burn spells, Kykar creates tokens that can attack in the air or be sacrificed for red mana to extend your turns. The deck combines combat pressure with passive burn from cards like Guttersnipe and Firebrand Archer, while anthem effects such as Favorable Winds and Balmor, Battlemage Captain scale up the damage clock. Efficient interaction, including Swords to Plowshares, An Offer You Can't Refuse, and Blasphemous Act, keeps opposing threats in check while advancing your board state. Mass cheat effects like Mass Polymorph offer explosive turns by swapping tokens for powerful utility creatures. The deck plays a fair, interactive mid-power game that thrives on tempo, aerial evasion, and compounding value from every spell cast.
