Jon boy by Ectar

Format: Commander

Commander: Jon Irenicus, Shattered One

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jon Irenicus, Shattered One "donate bad creatures" deck. The plan is to deploy a swarm of evasive unblockable, shadow, and horsemanship creatures, then hand them to opponents via Jon's end-step trigger - they arrive with two +1/+1 counters, become permanently goaded (they must attack and can't attack you), and gain "can't be sacrificed." Every time a donated creature attacks, you draw a card. The deck then straps combat-damage equipment like Buster Sword, Sword of Hearth and Home, and Mask of Memory onto the donated bodies so the triggers accrue to you. Evil Eye of Urborg and Evil Eye of Orms-by-Gore lock opponents out of attacking entirely. The win comes from incremental combat damage, the infect clock of Blighted Agent, and life-loss spells like Fraying Omnipotence and Rush of Dread.
