OGNIS by MisterHi

Format: Commander

Commander: Ognis, the Dragon's Lash

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jund treasure-haste deck helmed by Ognis, the Dragon's Lash, built to generate a snowball of Treasure tokens by attacking with haste creatures. The commander's attack trigger creates a tapped Treasure, and the 99 is packed with additional haste enablers, redundant Treasure producers (Dockside Extortionist, Old Gnawbone, Goldspan Dragon), and payoffs that convert artifacts into life loss, card advantage, or mana. The primary win conditions are draining opponents via Mayhem Devil, Marionette Master, Mirkwood Bats, and Disciple of the Vault; combat damage from a boosted Hellkite Igniter or Old Gnawbone; and the alternate win condition Revel in Riches. The deck is a midrange value engine that accelerates through treasures, but it lacks a fast combo finish and relies on incremental advantage.
