Deck overview

This mono-blue control deck uses Arcanis the Omnipotent as a massive card advantage engine in the command zone. The deck spends early turns developing its mana base through mid-cost mana rocks like Thran Dynamo and deploying utility wizards that untap permanents. Once Arcanis enters the battlefield, drawing three cards per tap allows the deck to dig rapidly into its primary win conditions. The main path to victory is Mind Over Matter, which loops with Arcanis to draw the entire library and win on the spot through Jace, Wielder of Mysteries or Psychosis Crawler. Backup combos include Isochron Scepter with Dramatic Reversal and Aphetto Alchemist with Illusionist's Bracers. The deck controls the board with a mixture of counterspells and mass bounce effects like Cyclonic Rift, aiming to survive until it can safely execute its combo turn.
